MARCHpms

Complying fully with UKPMS requirements, MARCHpms is a user-friendly pavement management system designed specifically for those wishing to work to UKPMS standards.

MARCHpms has been developed to comply with national standards and allows visual and machine survey data to be processed in accordance with UKPMS logic. The system is fully UKPMS accredited and Health Checked. It allows the user to define a UKPMS network, compile an item inventory and input condition surveys, either interactively, in HMDIF format from a data capture device or in Excel format. Automatic processing is available, enabling a number of operations to be carried out including rating, treatment selection, prioritisation by condition, estimating and budgeting. Condition projections, economic ranking and the projection of network trends are standard features of MARCHpms. In addition to Performance Indicator reports based on Audit Commission requirements, MARCHpms contains over 200 reports, each with a wide range of options. Other features include:

  • Full support materials including step-by-step factsheets
  • Ad-hoc MARCH UKPMS Bulletin, a technical digest which is also available to non-users on subscription
  • Unlimited installations within your organisation only
  • Two free places at the annual MARCH User Group Meeting
  • Representation at MARCH Liaison Group

An add-on module, MARCHmap, allows users to easily identify and extract data from MARCHpms to show on their own GIS system. MARCHmap is suitable for use with ArcView, MapInfo and other GIS. It can extract defects, treatments and condition indices to show by chainage.

Yotta DCL offers regular open training courses on a wide range of MARCHpms and UKPMS topics, with a reduced fee for MARCH users. Bespoke training is also available.

MARCHpms can provide valuable support for Asset Management. Using the network, inventory and condition data contained in the system, Asset Replacement Costs and Asset Valuation can be derived.
